Alain and Caroline were both born into a farming family. Alain’s parents, Lise and Yvon Dulude from St-Rémi and Caroline’s parents, Suzanne and François Forino from St-Michel passed on their great passion for agriculture.
Since their birth, they have been guided by these four pillars which are their models of determination and perseverance to be a good entrepreneur. This is how in 1989 they acquired land from Alain’s family and on May 5, 1990 the company Les Fermes Alcaro Inc. was founded.
Always in line with offering the best quality and freshness of their products, the company cultivates more than 350 hectors of land per year. In addition to working the land and needing to take on challenges, they offered a snow removal service in the town of St-Rémi for more than 35 years. Over time, another opportunity presented itself. After production comes processing.
This is how in June 2020 Les Délices de Marie-Christine was part of their projects. Being in the heart of the largest basin of organic land in Quebec, the proximity of fresh fruits and vegetables in season is an asset for concocting tasty recipes from yesteryear. With the right ingredients of love for the land and passion in their blood, the two entrepreneurs made their dream grow and evolve, which has now become that of their next generation.
A dream that extends from generation to generation
Their three children Jean-Sébastien, Carol-Anne and Marie-Philippe are proud to follow in the footsteps of this great adventure and in turn hope to pass on this same flame from generation to generation!
